Hyder Hassan

Hyder has over 7 years of experience in the areas of Project Management, Credit Risk Management, Reputation & Legal Risk Management, Retail Banking Product Management, and Sales & Customer Service Management. Prior to joining the Advisor Distribution Banking Products team in October 2009, he worked for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) in a variety of roles. He was honoured with various accolades for his strategic vision, relationship building, and leadership attributes.  He underwent his undergraduate training at the University Of Waterloo in B.A and specialized in management studies. Hyder also holds a certificate of project management from York University.  Along with career success aspirations, Hyder is involved in several volunteer activities. He currently mentors underprivileged youth and coaches them on life success skills. He was recruited as a team leader for the 2009 City Of Toronto Street Needs assessment, and  acted as a Public Affairs Director for the Unite for Sight Waterloo Chapter, which serves as an international body to prevent and cure blindness in third world countries. He has also served as a Deputy Returning Officer for Elections Canada and was a board of directors member for the 2008 Canada day diversity celebrations held in Brampton. In his free time, Hyder enjoys reading about prominent leaders, military tacticians, and self-help literature. He enjoys fencing, playing piano, drums, and is undergoing training in aikido martial arts along with a recent interest in yoga and meditation. He is a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid explorer of nature. He speaks English, Urdu, Hindi, and can understand Punjabi.
