Bassam El-Chami

Bassam worked as Business Development Manager, Partnership for approximately one year, and during that time greatly contributed to our growing network and to strengthening our business relationships with our partners through his extensive travelling, visiting and presenting to our partners' offices. He then went on to become our very first Regional Sales Manager in November of 2007. Bassam holds a MBA Financial Services from l’Université du Québec à Montréal, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration specialized in Finance from les Hautes Études Commerciales, a minor in Economy from Université de Montréal, along with a Financial Planner designation from IQPF. Bassam emigrated from Lebanon in 1994 and speaks 3 languages (French, English, Arabic). He started his banking career at the Laurentian Bank in 1997 and joined the National Bank in 2001. Here he has occupied the positions of Personal Banker, Financial Planner and Banking Services Senior Advisor.
