Bill Gross is portfolio manager and strategy leader for Janus' GLobal Unconstrained Bond strategy since 2014. Mr. Gross is also a member of the Janus Global Macro Fixed Income team and the Janus Group Global Allocation Committee. He holds an MBA from Anderson School of Management (University of California).
He pioneered the use of non-traditional fixed income securities, including convertible bonds, mortgages, as well as treasury options and other derivatives.
He co-founded PIMCO in 1971 and served as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer prior to joining Janus.
He received numerous awards throughout his career. For instance, in 2011, he received the Money Management Lifetime Achievement Award, by the Institutional Investor magazine.
